Second week of the New Year

Hard to believe it's the second week of January! It just seems like Christmas last week, when I was young I used to want to hurry up and become an adult, now I'm regretting how quickly the days pass by that's a wish I would definitely take back lol

My lamp arrived in the mail last week and I was so excited to be able to use it only to find out that it required a European to American adapter so I had to hurry up in Mondays to get one. Now I had a lot of resin projects in mind that will quired using resin but I didn't know exactly what kind to use and all I had was some UV gel polish.  That I was quick to find out that there were some problems that came with using this lamp and being able to work with some of the products that I had.

Can it still cure with a broken lightbulb?

In my first attempt I tried to punish a rest in peace I made with what I thought was a top coat but it actually turned out to be a base coat UV polish.  I later went out to Sally's and bought a UV top coat and tried again. To my dismay I found that the top coat didn't cure for me either so now I'm stuck with a resin piece covered in sticky UV polish. Now I think it's more about my lamp not working then it is the Polish. As much as I wanted it to work by using resin lamp isn't working so I'm going to have to put all projects involving UV polish aside until it can be fixed or I can get a new lamp.

Where do I get replacement?

I'll either have to go to Ace, Lowes or Home Depot for bulbs, Walmart may carry them but I'm not exactly sure. I'm better off checking hardware stores first. I'm hoping it's not hard to find a 9 watt light bulb.

Upcoming ideas?

Speaking of upcoming ideas, I've had this image of a swirling filigree type image bubbling in my mind. What could it be a pendant? Earrings? Charms? Its gonna be fun to find out.
